 HCA After School Program

HCA seeks to provide a safe, comfortable, Christian environment for each child.  We aim to provide fun activities in a friendly, welcome setting.

  • To provide a safe setting for children after school.
  • To Provide fun activities.
  • To provide time for homework help.
  • To encourage good manners.
  • To encourage sharing and making friends.
  • To model Chirsitan behavior and values.

Tuition & Fees:

Annual Registration Fee            $75.00 (non-refundable, to cover supplies & snacks)

Full Time (5days)                      $70.00 / week

Three Days                               $45.00 / week

Two Days                                  $30.00 / week

Second Child Discount             5% off 2nd child

Picking Up child after 6 P.M.    $1.00 per minute

If child gets out of school 1/2 day please add $5.00 for that day.

If they are out all day (workdays or holidays) and come to the program please add $10.00 for that day.  You will need to provide a packed lunch for full days.  Snack will be provided.

Tuition is due on Monday and will be considered late on Tuesday.  The late fee is $5.00 per day late.

If your child misses for any reason you are expected to pay for that day.

Arrival and Departure:

Children will arrive after school each day.  Children from Rural Point Elementary can ride the bus and get off the bus right at the door.

We will pick up from Kersey Creek and Pearson's Corner.

Pick up from HCA is no later than 6:00 P.M.. A late fee of $1/ per minute will be charged after 6:00 P.M.

Example Schedule:

Inclement Weather

Our basic schedule will include:

  • Snack time
  • Homework time
  • Outdoor playtime (weather permittting)
  •  Time to unwind, socialize through free choice activities.

If Hanover County is closed due to weather, we will send you a text or email letting you know if we will be open.  We do not open if the roads are bad.

If Hanover County Schools issue an early dismissal due to weather, we will NOT open that afternoon and you need to arrange transportation for your child from their school.

If Hanover County Schools open two hours late, we do not open that morning, but will be open for regular afternoon hours.
